According the study, the popularity of ice-cream has grown significantly in the last five years.
In 2015, the ice cream was sold in Rs 6.9 lakh crore, a rise of Rs 5,500 crore from the previous year.
According a report by the Indian Express, the growth rate of ice ice cream has more than doubled over the last decade.
